e-Book, book or DVD content :

Q : Do the e-Book, book or DVD contain the same material?
A : Not quite. The content is similar but the approach is sometimes different. The DVD digs a bit further on technical level, and the book gives much more detailed explanations. This is why the book and DVD are complementary, and book+DVD packages are sold at a discount price.

E-book technical issues :

Q : I've just bought your e-book on line and I didn't get it. What do I do?
A : As soon as your payment is accepted, you will be redirected to the web page from which you can download all the items you've ordered. It can happen that people sometimes accidently miss it or lose it! If it happens to you, please contact us, give us your payment reference number and we will send you the link again as soon as we can.

Q : Why didn't I get the toolbox in my mailbox?
A : No, you will not get an actual box in your letterbox. It is true, "toolbox" can make you think of an actual box... But as said in the presentation, the toolbox is an all-digital package that contains software and e-books (pdf documents). You can download the whole lot and get it in minutes, without waiting and paying shipping costs.

Q : I can't download the "Ride A Guitar" .PDF file. What can I do?
A : You get a compressed (.zip) file. You need to "unzip" it first, with "unzip", "unrar" or any uncompress application. Such an application is already installed on almost all PCs. If your PC does not have any please do a Google search (or other search engine), type "free unzip download". Then choose, download and install an application on your computer.
Once you've got the PDF file, you need "Adobe reader" to open it. Here again, this reader is already installed on most computers. If this is not the case, download Adobe reader and install it. The whole process only takes about 2 minutes (you need a working Internet connection).

Q : I can't read the audio/video files. Where are they?
A : All audio/video files are embedded in the PDF file, therefore you don't have to do anything. It will just work by itself, as long as Quick Time is installed on your P.C. and is set as the default media reader. If not, download and install the latest version (free). Make sure your loudspeakers are plugged in properly and turned on.

Q : Can I use the method on Windows, Mac or Linux?
A : Of course! The book was made on a Mac, and it can be open on Windows, Mac or Linux all versions, using Adobe Reader or another application that reads .pdf files. However avoid "preview" on Mac, it removes or truncates some embedded media.

General questions

Q : Is online payment secure?
A : Yes. You can order and pay either with your PAYPAL account or with any debit or credit card with PAYPAL, which offer the best security guarantees. People with a french bank account can also pay by cheque. Traveller checks are accepted. If you wish to use an other payment method please contact us.

Q : When will I receive my DVD/Book/CD?
A : All shipping is made by "JUSTECORDES", online guitar and accessories shop. All orders placed before 10 AM are processed on the same day and sent with LA POSTE.

Q : Can I play my DVD on any DVD player?
A : The DVD was designed to be played on any working DVD player or DVD equipped computer. What's more it has NO regios restrictions which means it can be read in any part of the world (region free).

Q : Can I return the item and get my money back?
A : Ebook downloads : Unless otherwise stated, downloaded Ebooks cannot be returned or reimbursed, receiving the file in electronic format is considered as acceptance of the product. The buyer will also be expected to respect the author's copyright. However when a refund is accepted the buyer must delete any copies he posseses.
"Physical items" : If you are unhappy with your product, please email us stating the reason for return. We will issue you with an return number and instructions if your request is accepted. Shipping costs will not be paid back.

Q : What is the Mailing List/Newsletter?
A : When ordering we will put you on the mailing list. You will get a short letter about every month, to keep informed about our new offers. You can also subscribe to the mailing list without ordering.

Q : Can you remove my details and unsubscribe me from the mailing list?
A : Of course! You can subscribe or unsubscribe instantly. All the data collected on the website is strictly used by us. Our company will never share this data with a third party.

Q : Can I copy the software and e-books and give them away or sell them?
A : ... You can copy and give away all FREE items as much as you want. As for the purchased Items, many people have the technical ability to do it, but keep in mind that this is a crime. We all know that creating a CD, Software, book or film takes an enormous amount of time, money and energy and therefore selling or even giving away illegal copies is very harmful to the authors and to the creativity itself and is rightfully forbidden.
All works are copyright protected and all acts of piracy will be prosecuted.
